Description: Five pleasingly colored, striking flowers, significantly different than prior awards on one inflorescence; dorsal sepal cream, veined maroon, ventral sepal cream, irregularly striped maroon; petals cream, spotted maroon proximally overlaid maroon distally; pouch cream, upper half suffused maroon; staminode green-yellow, purple hirsute margin; substance firm; texture glossy.

Description: One flower on one upright inflorescence; dorsal sepal white proximally brushed light green finely spotted dark purple; synsepal light green finely spotted purple; petals white, overlaid yellow-green, fine dark purple spots sprinkled uniformly; pouch yellow-green, interior spotted dark purple; staminode white suffused yellow-green centrally, purple distally; substance medium; texture matte, pouch waxy.

Approximately five hundred twenty flowers on five arching pendulous inflorescences borne from the leaf axils on an 88.0 cm diameter plant in a 20.5 cm plastic pot; pseudobulbs 26.0cm long by 4.1cm wide, cylindrical, slightly compressed laterally, six to seven internodes covered by large bracts carrying up to seven 26.0 cm long by 6.5 cm wide oblong-lanceolate leaves; sepals translucent, mottled dusty pink; petals translucent mottled dusty pink, white apically; lip maroon, white on distal half, hinged at base of column forming a nectary, anther cap yellow; column maroon; substance firm; texture crystalline; a large and floriferous Eria of attractive color and inflorescence and form. Geographical Origin Sumatera. Eria rhynchostyloides award 20152011, has been determined to be Eria palmifolia by SITF (May 2015).
